Italian Trade Agency (ITA) is at the crossroads of a growing consumer push to add value through authenticity in food purchases. It comes at a period when retailers are transforming their organizations with omnichannel strategies, made possible by rapidly developing new technologies like blockchain and Artificial Intelligence. New digital technologies when fully implemented will efficiently provide shoppers with more products they want, to be delivered when they want them.
During 2018 ITA Chicago office has reinforced, with a selected number of US retailers, an omnichannel approach which combines in-store, online, mobile, social media and e-commerce into one integrated plan. This program aims to engage consumers on the quality and the inherent value of Authentic Italian products throughout the entire path ultimately leading to purchase.
