The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) Chicago Office marked its institutional participation at the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference & Exhibition, the oldest and largest library association event in the world, held from June 25 to 29, 2026.
At this premier gathering for thousands of library professionals, publishers, and literary advocates, ITA Chicago hosted a dedicated 600 sq. ft. pavilion (Booth #4238). The pavilion served as a strategic platform to showcase the excellence of Italy's publishing ecosystem, organized in close collaboration with the Associazione Italiana Editori (AIE — Italian Publishers Association).
Visitors to the Italian Pavilion gained direct access to key industry resources, B2B collaboration opportunities, and official updates from Italy's leading literary trade shows, including the Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino (SalTO) and the Bologna Children's Book Fair (BCBF).
Central to this institutional presence is ITALBOOKS.com, the digital bridge for the sector maintained by the ITA Chicago office.
